     Recently, VOITH customized rogowski coils in our company. These rogowski coils produced by us achieved complete success in current test of Xiluodu Hydropower Station, and received high evaluation from German experts. The delivery of this test equipment means Shanghai Pinyan did a significant contribution to Chinese giant hydropower test equipment production localization. It is important to Chinese implementing renewable energy strategy and improving the energy structure.

Introduction of Xiluodu Hydropower Station:
    Xiluodu Hydropower Station is the second largest hydroelectric station after the Three Gorges Project in China, and the third largest hydropower station in world. It is equipped with eighteen units, and total installed capacity is 13.86 million kilowatt. VOITH won the contract of providing three sets of air cooling generating units to Xiluodu Left Bank Power Station in 2008. The contract amount is RMB 1.123 billion. No. 8 unit of this delivery operation is the biggest generating set worldwide. It is manufactured independently by Voith Hydro’s subsidiaries—Shanghai Voith hydro power equipment co., LTD. With the official operation of the first sets of unit, Xiluodu Left Bank Power Station has started officially to generate electricity.
    The whole Xiluodu project is expected to be completed in June 2014. At that time, annual energy output will reach up to 64 billion KWH, and carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced about 150 million tons per year.
